Queens College's Godwin-Ternbach Museum has received 150 original Polaroid snapshots and gelatin silver prints from acclaimed pop artist Andy Warhol, a gift from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Comment.

The Play’s The Thing

In the beginning was the word, and Fred Rohan Vargas has lots of them. Chatting at my office, overlooking the LIRR Douglaston station, it was hard to tell who was doing the interviewing. But since it's my column, we decided it should be me, especially since Fred, now age 59, has done so many things that most people never get to do. Movies, panelists galore at second Rockaway Lit Fest

The second Rockaway Literary Festival will be held June 7-8 at Fort Tilden in Far Rockaway, in sTudios 6 & 7. The brainchild of author Stuart Mirsky, it will again feature panels of writers and filmmakers and Mirsky promises a bigger, better event this time around. Comment.
