Take precautions when protecting yourself, your possessions

Everyone loves seeing the horses whenever our southeast Queens communities have a function where the Black Cowboys are front and center. I feel the same way but was upset last week when I heard on the radio that the U.S. Interior Department is planning on killing what I believe is one of this country’s national treasures: our wild horses. Comment.

‘Yes We Can’

In the waning days of the presidential race, Barack Obama was met everywhere he went with enthusiastic crowds that chanted “Yes we can.” For some, it meant their candidate could capture the White House after a long and bitter campaign. For others, including thousands of people living in southeast Queens, “Yes we can” held a much deeper meaning. Comment.
