Queens Village man gets 80 to life for robbery, violent police chase

A Queens Village man was sentenced to 80 years to life in prison last week for shooting at Nassau County police officers while he and three others led the officers on a high-speed chase through Nassau and Queens after they committed a home invasion robbery in Elmont, L.I., in 2009, the Nassau district attorney’s office said. Comment.
