Thompson, 48, of El Paso, Texas, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after he allegedly approached Port Authority Officer Lyndon Charles inside departures terminal No. 8 inside LaGuardia Airport Nov. 1 and informed him that he had a stun gun on his person, according to police.
