FLUSHING — A Bayside resident was arraigned on charges of reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, petit larceny and harassment Feb. 2 for allegedly stealing food from a Kentucky Fried Chicken at 136-04 Northern Blvd. in Flushing and then throwing a garbage can through the glass window of the store when the manager of the store refused to serve him again, the Queens district attorney’s office said. KEW GARDENS — A 30-year-old Ozone Park woman who provided care for children out of her home was convicted Tuesday of reckless assault of a child by a daycare provider in the June 2009 death of an 11-month-old boy who drowned in a bucket with 6 inches of water, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
