Community Board 7's committee studying the city's planned redevelopment of Willets Point voted 22-3 to recommend approval of the project if a series of conditions are met by the time it goes to the City Council for a vote later this year. Comment.

If new allegations against former cops, who admit accepting cash and sexual favors for protecting a Flushing whore house, are true, then the hammer should come down hard. Informants allegedly say that two former 109th Precinct cops planted drugs on suspects and stole their cash. Comment.
