Cops seize cocaine worth $53M: DA

In one of the biggest drug seizures in Queens over the past few years, authorities confiscated $53 million worth of cocaine from a stash house in Richmond Hill Saturday.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown and Police Commissioner Howard Safir described the bust as a severe blow to the drug trade in the city. Some 428 kilograms of high-grade cocaine with a street value of $53 million was seized.
