Padavan seeks choice of insanity verdicts

State Sen. Frank Padavan (R-Bellerose) has called for jurors to have an alternative verdict to guilty or not guilty by reason of insanity in the wake of the mistrial of the man accused of killing a young Manhattan woman by pushing her in front of a subway train.
