School Board 26 made several recommendations last week on preliminary plans for an elementary school proposed for the campus of Creedmoor Psychiatric Hospital, including air conditioning and additional space for classrooms and storage.
There have been a number of conflicting reports about the number of schools planned for the Creedmoor property.
District 29 has said there would be four schools built on the campus, but during an October appearance in Queens Village, Borough President Claire Shulman said there would be three schools.
She also said it was still not clear if the proposed schools would go to northeast Queens
