Korean demonstration makes U.N. plea

More than 100 Koreans from throughout Queens marched through downtown Flushing Saturday morning in an ongoing effort to convince the United Nations to recognize North Korean defectors to China as refugees.

The protesters say that such action would prevent China from arresting and returning the fleeing North Koreans to their homeland, where some reports say they are immediately executed.
