Jamaica falls to Wadleigh at Sullivan Classic

By Dylan Butler

The Jamaica boys basketball team had its chance. After a mediocre first half of the season, the Beavers had an opportunity to make some noise in the Public School Athletic League against last season's city semifinalist, Wadleigh, at Riverbank State Park in Harlem Monday afternoon.

Instead, Jamaica squandered its moment by missing layups and not playing aggressive basketball as the Tigers, led by Roscoe Biggers' 35 points, defeated the Beavers, 70-66, in the semifinals of the seventh annual James P. Sullivan High School Basketball Christmas Classic.
