Pataki welcomes new group home in Bellerose

It looks like any other house on any tree-lined street in northeast Queens, with manicured lawns and kids running up and down the block playing tag or riding bikes.

But this house is different.

The house at 247-22 88th Rd. in Bellerose will be the home to six developmentally disabled and mentally retarded individuals, helping them to lead productive lives.
