A man was killed in Bayside during the rainstorm Tuesday night when he was hit by a car near Northern Boulevard and dragged several blocks, police said.

Police said the man, whom they could not identify as of presstime, was dragged to the dead-end 217th Street near 43rd Avenue from a spot on Northern Boulevard several blocks from the 111th Police Precinct.

Residents on 217th Street said the victim was a homeless man named George who went by the nickname
