Happy birthday to us!
There is no shortage of material for a Fourth of July column celebrating the nuttiness, diversity, and rambunctious outsized je ne sais quoi (as they say on the Long Island Expressway) that makes these shores a treat to live on. It seems that we have more interesting happenings happening here than in any other part of the world – the stock market, the president, The Dot Com Industry, and on.
We certainly live in a great nation.
On this, our 224th natal date, the economy is rocking along, crime is down, and school scores are up. But kvetching remains the country
