Police Blotter: Man shot in robbery in Astoria Park

ASTORIA- A 20-year-old man was shot twice and his motorcycle was taken at about 12:30 a.m. Monday, police said.

He was sitting on a bench in Astoria Park when three men on two motorcycles drove up and demanded his keys, said Det. Robert Samuel, a police spokesman. When he refused, he was shot twice in the chest, Samuel said.

The three men then drove off with the bikes, including the victim
