The Flushing YMCA, 138-46 Northern Blvd. Flushing offers free activities such as computer classes, recreational swimming and game room time for children ages 8-18 every Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. 718-961-6880.

Animals

Free Doggie Boot Camp presented by The Academy of Canine Education, Inc., is offered from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday afternoon in Crocheron Park. 718-454-5800.

Applications

The Flushing YMCA is currently accepting applications for its YouthBuild Program. YouthBuild is a free program for young adults between the ages of 17 – 21 who did not complete high school and are interested in building a trade. 718 961-6580.

Bingo is held every Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Garden Jewish Center of Flushing, 24-40 Parsons Blvd., Flushing. 718-445-1317.

Bellerose Jewish Center, 254-04 Union Turnpike in Floral Park offers Triple Bingo every Monday Night at 7:30 p.m.

Bridge

Celebrations

Francis Lewis High School, 58-20 Utopia Parkway, Fresh Meadows holds its 40th Anniversary Celebration on Sat., Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium and Sept. 24 from noon to 5 p.m. A dinner dance will be held on Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m. Admission: $30.
