Delta Airlines adds quieter jets to its fleet

Frederick Reid, chief of marketing for Delta, and Carolyn Ezzell, managing director of the shuttle, introduced the Boeing 737-800, a $53 million, 156-seat jetliner that Reid said would be 90 percent quieter than the Boeing 727s now in service on the route from LaGuardia Airport.
