Jamaica leaders question economic boom

A group of community leaders gathered last Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Jamaica to discuss what effect the boom in economic development will have on residents.

The forum was sponsored by the First Presbyterian in Jamaica Community and Urban Development Corporation, a nonprofit group funded by the First Presbyterian Church whose goal is to help southeast Queens residents become self-employed.
