Flushing family mourns loss of loved one

The glass door out front clicked shut and the women kept walking. The words on a flier scotchtaped to the door came into focus: $2,000 reward for the two teenagers who killed their father.

Sung-Sin and Bo-Young know to be back before 8 p.m. Ever since their father was murdered in late September in the lobby they had just walked through, their mother, Moung-Sun, insisted on their keeping a strict curfew. Moung-Sun herself does not leave her house, though, and Sung-Sin has become reclusive.
