DAC Cascarino’s Mets 7, DAC Pier 25A Marlins 5. The Mets jumped ahead early, 7-2, with pitcher Matt DiGirolomo striking out nine and giving up two runs.

The Mets had a balanced hitting attack with 11 hits. Leasding the way with a home run and a double was Matt DiGirolomo, as Rob Liquori, Justin Goodman, Braham Coen and Nick Clemente added two hits each. Jeremy Geller and Michael Pisciotta had one hit each and Larry Karapanagiotioles knocked in his first RBI of the season. Michael Pisciotta, Justin Goodman and Raul Olivry were all outstanding in the field.

Tony Koulotourous led the way for the Marlins with three hits and two RBIs. Brett Lawler had two hits and John Paul Koulotourous pitched two scoreless innings. Johnny Liquori and Nicholas Zavattieri played outstanding in the field.

DAC Continental Shipping Cardinals 8, DAC Eden Florist Yankees 8. This see-saw battle, that saw the lead change five times by the sixth inning, ended in an 8-8 tie with both teams battling to the end.

For the Cardinals, pitcher John Massa had an outstanding three innings, striking out seven. The Cardinal bats were led by John Massa, Justin Black, Jason Brendler, Robert Hughes and Tommy Wojciechowski. The game ball went to Tommy Wojciechowski for tying up the game with a two-run double in the third inning.

For the Yankees, Jared Katz had two home runs, Michael Katz and Matt Mahler hit triples and Manoli Sgouros, Andrew Gross and Danny Weisman had timely hits.

DAC Continental Shipping Cardinals 12, DAC Cascarino's Mets 8. Pitcher Sebastian Grazziani pitched a perfect three innings, retiring nine batters in a row, while pitchers John Massa and Chris Carton closed out the game with excellent performances. The Cardinal bats were on fire, as Justin Black, John Massa, Tommy Wojciechowski, Sebastian Grazziani, Chris Carton and Robert Hughes all had hits. Grazziani hit two home runs and Black added one. The game ball went to Chris Carton for great offensive and defensive performance.

The Mets battled back hard, with Justin Goddman hitting a home run, Steve Cervino adding a triple and three RBIs , Michael Pisciotta smashin double with two RBIs and Kenny Pinto, Rob Liquori and Braham Coen pounding out one hit apiece.

DAC Pony League

DePhillips Sports Mets 11, OLBS Dodgers 3. The Mets outlasted the Dodgers behind Jon Bladers complete game and two home runs. Andrew and Chris Pagnozzi also generated plenty of offense and Thomas Hubany and Jack Zolla made some great plays in the outfield and Tommy Hill also supplied plenty of defense.

Reif Park Rangers 11, Exxon at Baybridge Devil Rays 9. The Rangers beat the D-Rays 11-9 behind the strong pitching of Ian Leisenheimer and Brian Lavelle. Nicky Morgenstern hit a home run and Mike Cavataio had two hits. Steve. Steve Jandowitz made a great catch in the outfield. For the D-Rays, Ricky Honya pitched another solid game and Jack Eichenger had some big hits. Jason Waters, John Mirabella and Adam Greenfield played well defensively.

Estates Animal Hospital Yankees 11, Nat Valins, DDS Cardinals 2. The Yankees rolled over the Cardinals, 11-2, behind Matt Larotunda’s complete game and big hits from Joe Marimani and Joe Brent. Brian O’Connell and Mike Thomashoff played well in the field, along with Tony Airasian. For the Cardinals, Julien Funtaine had a great game at bat and in the field. Joe Kronberg and David Valins also made some fine defensive plays.
