Giants Post 104 Vs Metropolitan Suds Reds

The sun was out in full force as the Giant took the field on a hot Saturday in June. The Giants were equally as hot at the plate.

The orange and black banged out 31 hits. Leading the way on the hit parade was Timothy Frenzel (4-for-4).

Timmy was joined by the rest of his teammates who banged the cover off the ball: Mark Otero went 3-for-4 with a double to the outfield, Chris Piteo also 3-for-4 with a double to the outfield (his second consecutive game with a double), Johnny Postel 3-for-3, Patrick Ennd 3-for-3, Ryan DeBiase 2-for-3, Dave Fitzgerald 2-for-3, Mike Borgia 1-for-3, Anthony DaMario 2-for-3, Samantha DiGiovanni 2-for-3, Stevie Seigal 1-for-3, Andrew Rebello and Bryan Torres, who each went 2-for-3.

On the defensive side the orange and black were at it again, playing super team denfese shutting down numerous scoring threats. Game balls went to Ryan DeBiase and Mike Borgia.

Congratulations to the two Giants that teamed up with the Limbacher team in the Rookie Division. Timmy Frenzel playing great at first base. Chris Piteo pitched three innings (7 strikeouts, 2 hits and allowed no ruins). Chris also had one hit, going 1-for-1 with a game-winning RBI. Chris also played second base, and made some fine plays. The next regular scheduled game for the Giants will be Jun 14, at 6:00 PM
