CORONA — A 26-year-old man was found guilty Friday of murdering his ex-girlfriend as she left a baby shower, said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.

Julio Zamora of 53-25 108th St. in Corona was found guilty in a jury trial of killing Rosio Hernandez on March 26, 2000 outside 34-11 108th St. in Corona, Brown said. Zamora faces a maximum term of 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced.

The evidence showed Zamora waited outside the residence until the party was over and then shot Hernandez repeatedly in the chest when she came out, Brown said.
