To The Point: Summer brings array of celebrations, events

By Sabina Cardali

Welcome to the Point. The Point being College Point.

As the heat of the coming summer approaches, the graduations and anniversaries are upon us. The College Point Security Patrol celebrates its 10th anniversary , the same number of years that D.A. Richard Brown has been in office.

It makes it all worthwhile when you make a difference to the people around you. Along with patrolling, we assist with the marathons, school dances and speaking to all senior groups for their safety. We know that we have made a difference and will continue to do so. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us. We wish to thank the Mayor’s Voluntary Action Center for their nomination for the Volunteer Service Award for the College Point Security Patrol.
