Edison track team wins Queens cross country crown

Coach Dave Cohen’s boys track team has again proved to be champs by winning the Queens PSAL cross country title in Cunningham Park. The Thomas A. Edison Vocational & Technical HS Track team captain, Jeffrey Everett, is a senior mechanical technology major who lives in Hollis. Through his church, the Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church in Hollis, Everett has visited and helped an 85-year-old man once a week for a few hours during the past year. Also on the team are Yenka Aiyellabowo, who is a senior medical/pharmacology major from Hollis, Darron Mills, who is a electronics major from Rochdale, Michael Saunders, who is a informational major from East Elmhurst, Michael London, who is a electronics major from Richmond Hill, Mohammed Uddin, who is a computer science major from Ozone Park, Elliott Rivera, who is a computer repair major from Cypress Hills, Konrad Blanco, who is a computer science major from Jackson Heights and Taiwo Aiyelabowo, who is a medical pharmacology major from Hollis.
