Holy Cross High School seniors Woody Aime and Douglas Anderwkavich, have been chosen to play in the Boomer Esaison Outback Steakhouse Bowl on Monday, July 2. These two young men were selected as two of the top 50 players in New York City and will compete against the top 50 players from Long Island. The game will be played at Hofstra University and tickets are available through Holy Cross High School at 886-7250.
Additionally, Aime and Anderwkavich will be participating in the Governor’s Bowl on Friday, July 13, at Columbia University. This game matches the top 50 players in New York State against the top 50 players in New Jersey. Both young men received athletic scholarships: Aime from Hofstra University and Anderwkavich from the University of Buffalo.
