Sardis scored three goals in a pair of 5-0 wins over Xaverian to help the Stanners win their third straight Brooklyn/Queens division title Tuesday afternoon. For the Howard Beach native, who missed three weeks during the regular season to injury, it was his third straight division title.
Sardis, who was one of several Molloy players pulled offside by Xaverian’s offside trap, was grabbed from behind in the box in the 31st minute, leading to Christophe Chirol’s penalty kick goal. He also scored on a breakaway in the 50th minute to put Molloy comfortably ahead, 4-0.
