Bike Week comes to boro

From May 1-11, Transportation Alternatives and the NYC Department of Transportation will present Bike Week NYC. This is the 12th annual celebration of NYC cycling. The week-long celebration honors the bicycle as a convenient, quick, quiet, clean and commu

Bike Week event calendars are available at local bike shops, Transportation Alternatives and online at www.bikeweeknyc.org and www.transalt.org. Look out for the beautiful orange Bike Week posters at bus stop shelters throughout the borough.

Kissena Velodrome Re-Dedication and Opening Day

Queens BP Breakfast

Queens side of the Queensboro Bridge Bike Path.

Celebrate cycling in Queens with a free breakfast courtesy of Queens Borough President Helen Marshall. Meet at 7:30 a.m. at Northern Blvd and Broadway to ride to a free breakfast.
