Monday, May 12, 7-9 p.m.: Summer Day Camp free OPEN HOUSE. RFK Building. Camp runs Mondays through Thursdays, from June 30 to July 31. Both full and half-day programs are available. Camp’s offerings include sports and fitness, trips, swimming, science, computer, arts and crafts, dance, movement, and academic enrichment. Sunday, May 18, 4 p.m.: “Verdi’s Requiem.” The Queens Symphony Orchestra, The Oratorio Society of Queens and guest soloists Ai-Lan Zhu, soprano; Hadar Halevi, mezzo-soprano; Eduardo Villa, tenor and Alfred Walker, bass, come together to perform composer Giuseppe Verdi”s major work, Requiem.
