JAMAICA — The 165th Street Mall Association has planned its seventh annual Sportsfest, featuring health and fitness activities Saturday.
The day-long event is slated to feature information from hospitals and health clinics on blood pressure, dental care and personal hygiene, while other activities will have participants facing an obstacle course, boxing challenge and a rock climbing wall. There will also be entertainment from gospel, jazz and blues bands.
The Sportsfest is slated for Saturday at the 165th Street Mall at 165th Street and Jamaica Avenue. For more information call 718-526-0718.
