Berman to join Musica Reginae at Town Hall

In the third production of its widely acclaimed Accolade Series for the 2002-2003, season Musica Reginae presents virtuoso pianist Daniel Berman in Flushing Town Hall on Sunday, March 9, at 4 p.m. Flushing Town Hall is located at 137-35 Northern Blvd. an

Daniel Berman, a classical pianist in the “grand manner” with unusual musical sensitivity will play Mendelssohn’s Fantasy in f-sharp minor, op. 28, as well as selections from Albeniz and Debussy. He will end the performance with a paraphrase of the memorable tunes from the world’s most famous operetta, “Die Fledermaus.”

Maestro David Close, well known for his work with the Oratorio Society of Queens and the Orchestral Arts Ensemble of Queens, will host this afternoon of wonderful music.

Musica Reginae Productions is a professional non-profit music group that is known for its Accolade Series of concerts and for productions in conjunction with other arts organizations in other parts of Queens.
