Although you have not read about them in the sports section, the team was started three years ago and consists of 11- and 12-year-old boys playing competitive baseball on a national level. This year’s roster is a combination of the 2002-2003 diocesan champions and the HBQVB all-stars. Surprisingly, this team was compiled without adding one penny to last year’s payroll.

The Saint Gregory’s Patriots will be representing this community July 10 in the national tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park. As spring arrives, these boys will be practicing their craft and working to raise funds to offset some of the travel and tournament costs.

Should you see these boys having a car wash or providing any other services to the community, we ask for your support in their endeavors.
