Wed., May 5 – The 7th Annual Rose of Carmel Benefit Gala honors Peter and Mary Tobin with a silent auction and cocktails at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Black tie preferred.

Fri., May 7 – The United Hospital Fund hosts a Tribute to Hospital Trustees 2004 benefit luncheon at the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan at noon. Trustees from Jamaica Hospital, Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children, Flushing Hospital and New York Hospital Queens will be honored.

Fri., May 14 – Great Woodhaven Development Corp. holds its annual spring dinner dance to celebrate its 25th anniversary at Le Cordon Bleu Caterers at 7:30 p.m. U.S. Reps. Gregory Meeks and Anthony Weiner will be honored along with Mathew Xenakis, owner of Park Place Greenery.

Tues., May 18 – Queens Center for Progress holds the Phil Olin Dinner Dance honoring Pi Development Founder James Pi and city Building Dept. Engineer Manher Shah at Terrace on the Park at 7 p.m.

Wed., May 19 – Rockaway Development and Revitalization Corp. holds its 18th Annual Tribute at Russo’s on the Bay in Howard Beach to honor members of the business community and give community service awards to two officers from the 101st Precinct. Cocktails at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing.
