Police were looking for information on an 18-year-old man wanted in connection with two murders, one in South Jamaica and another in Laurelton, detectives said last Thursday.

Brad Washington, 18, is accused of shooting a 35-year-old man outside a Merrick Boulevard nightclub in November and a Laurelton man outside his home in January, said Charles Gunther, assistant chief of the Queens borough detective bureau.

Police asked for the public’s help in apprehending Washington, who was described as standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 120 pounds. Washington also goes by the nicknames “Brad Perry” and “LB,” police said. Detectives believe he is still in New York City, although they did not release an address for him.

Washington was identified by police as the shooter involved in the death of Robert Jarvis, 35, of 120-16 165th St. in Jamaica on Nov. 22, Gunther said. Jarvis was shot in the head with a .45-caliber automatic gun outside Industry Lounge, a night spot at 127-12 Merrick Blvd., police said.

Police believe Washington shot Jarvis during a dispute over a woman, but further details were not released, Gunther said.

Washington was also suspected in the Jan. 6 murder of Karim Titus, who was shot and killed outside his 134th Road home, police said.

Titus was reportedly ambushed as he got out of his car about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 6. Titus, who apparently recognized the man, tried to escape his attacker and ran north on 222nd Street, but he was shot three times, police said.

Washington allegedly attacked Titus in an ongoing dispute that may have been related to drugs, police said. Titus’ family denied any involvement with drugs, but a lieutenant at the 105th Precinct, which covers the area, confirmed that detectives were probing a possible link.

Anyone with information on Washington’s whereabouts is asked to call the New York Police Department’s Crime Stoppers line at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls are confidential.
