JAMAICA — A Brooklyn man has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident in connection with a hit-and-run on Saturday on the Cross Island Parkway, police said.

Glaston Mitchell, 41, of 684 Logan St., was charged Monday with leaving the scene of an accident, police said.

The charges stem from an incident at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, when a 39-year-old man was struck by a white sedan while traversing the Cross Island Parkway near Jamaica Avenue, police said.

The sedan fled and the victim was removed to North Shore Manhassett Hospital in critical condition, police said.
