The Our Lady of the Snows Cadet boys’ team improved its record to 5-0 by defeating St. Cecelia’s, 9-4, at McCarren Park last Thursday night.

Jason Sophie started and again had a tremendous outing. He pitched six innings, allowing one run on three hits while walking six and striking out seven.

Chris Viso came on to pitch the seventh inning and struck out two.

Offensively Snows jumped out to a fast start when Brian Kelleher led off the game with a triple to right field in a six-run first inning highlighted by a home run off the bat of Anthony Langone.

Kevin Salcedo singled and scored twice, Ray Potestio added two singles to the cause, and Anthony Meo and Joey Caraballo each drove in runs.
