The Townsend Harris tri-sport standout (basketball, track and soccer) had a spectacular week for the Hawks soccer team. After scoring three goals and dishing out two assists in an 8-1 win over Cardozo Friday, Dubowski put up the same stat line in a 9-0 rout of John Adams Monday.
In 12 games Dubowski had 21 goals and 19 assists for 61 points, and she is tied with Liz Friedman as the city’s top scorer. She is also the top playmaker in the league.

Todd Green did something no other pitcher has done for coach Pat Torney in his 17 years at Bayside — he won three games in one week. In an 8-7 victory over Bushwick Friday, Green had one strikeout and walked four in four innings of relief for his third win of the week. He also allowed eight hits, struck out seven and walked four in an 8-6 win over John Bowne last Thursday, and he pitched three innings of one-hit relief in an 8-7 win over Flushing two days earlier. Teammate Jason Espinal hit a grand slam and had six RBIs in an 11-1 win over Francis Lewis Tuesday after going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and three RBIs against Bushwick … Jillian Miller went 4-for-6 with seven RBIs for Grover Cleveland in a win against Renaissance … Davika Ramtahal drove in six runs Friday for Franklin K. Lane in a win at Long Island City … Gloria Fernandez struck out 12 and allowed four hits in a complete-game win for John Bowne over Jamaica at home Friday … Martin Van Buren’s Damon Valentino hit two home runs and drove in five runs in a win against August Martin Saturday … Townsend Harris’ Nikolas Kaloudis struck out 12 in five innings and gave up two hits in a win against Hillcrest … Springfield Garden’s Annika Stewart scored the game-winning goal against John Bowne Friday at home … Juliana Lucena scored two goals in Hillcrest’s win over Campus Magnet Friday … Far Rockaway’s Shickon Asfall scored two goals in a win against Beach Channel last Thursday at Far Rockaway.
