Monte pitched five innings, scattering three hits and striking out seven, staying below a 60-pitch count. Mike DiNoto got the save by striking out the side in the sixth inning.
Printing Express’ Joe Randazzo, Jonathan Cedeno and Terence Manfredonia all hit safely.

It was a great see-saw game, but in the end Padavan’s Paragons edged out Sports DDS.com Saturday.
In a great show of hitting, Ryan Berglund turned in two hits, three runs and four stolen bases; Chris Kumar provided three hits, two runs and three stolen bases; and Anthony Palermo had three hits and four runs batted in.
Frankie Madonia pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts. Rounding out the victory were Justin Berglund and Logan Miller, who made outstanding plays all day at second and first bases.
For Sports DDS.com, Nick Loccisano had two hits and two runs scored, and Michael Leonard turned in two hits.
