A St. John’s Queens Hospital ambulance responding to an emergency call collided with a passenger van in Elmhurst Sunday, injuring four people police said.

The ambulance was traveling on Queens Boulevard and was involved in an accident at about 3:30 p.m. near Eliot Avenue, police said.

The car’s driver and passenger, and ambulance driver and EMT were taken to Elmhurst Hospital and treated, police said.
