Nolan readies for comers in re-election bid

By Matthew Monks

Getting a jump-start on the November elections, state Assemblywoman Catherine Nolan (D-Ridgewood) has announced that she will seek a sixth term in the 37th Assembly District.

“Representing our community is a high honor,” Nolan said. “I have worked to fight for our neighborhoods both in Albany and here at home. I would like to continue in that work and hope voters will grant me that privilege for another term.”

Nolan, 46, lives in Ridgewood with her husband and has district offices in Ridgewood and Woodside.

She has won her last two elections by comfortable margins, taking in 94 percent of the vote in 2002, and 60 percent in 2000.
