Salvador Patricio scored a career-high 50 points, including seven three-pointers, to lead the Bryant boys’ basketball team to a 76-48 non-league win over Hillcrest Saturday and then had 30 points and 10 assists for the Owls in a playoff-berth clinching 89-52 win over Aviation Monday.

And to think, the junior guard, who is averaging 29 points per game, nearly left Bryant last month to attend a prep school.
