St. Francis Prep lost its sixth straight and fell to 2-6.St. Peter's 8, McClancy 2. Keith Morrice and Stephen Ferguson scored a goal apiece for McClancy (1-6 CHSHL 'B') Saturday at Abe Stark Rink. St. Peter's (4-2) was led by Sean Collins and Christian Santi, who scored 2 goals apiece, while Richie Rollins had a goal and 3 assists and PJ Liconti and Ron Tinao also scored for the Eagles.St. Peter's 4, St. Francis Prep 3. Peter Loeb had 2 goals and Marc Sausa added a goal for St. Francis Prep, which led 3-0 in the third period Friday night at Abe Stark Rink. Matt Walsh had 2 goals, Rich Rollins had a goal and 2 assists and Brian Wiegold scored the game-winner for St. Peter's.McClancy 4, St. Joseph by the Sea 3. Stephen Ferguson scored all 4 goals and Keith Morrice added 2 assists for McClancy, which won its first game in the CHSHL 'B' division last Thursday at Murray Rink. The Crusaders take on St. Francis Prep Thursday at Parkwood Rink in Great Neck.Molloy 5, Stepinac 3. Chris Francaviglia and Bryan Elfant scored two goals apiece and Brendan Tracey added a goal for Molloy (3-7 CHSHL 'A') Saturday at the Ice Hutch in Mount Vernon. John Greaney, Dan Ahearn and Mike Henderson scored for Stepinac (5-2-1). Monsignor Farrell 4, Molloy 1. Elfant scored the lone goal for the Stanners with 19 seconds left in the third period Friday night at Abe Stark Rink on Coney Island. Jon Formichelli, Steven Markowicz and Frank Arcuri scored third period goals for Farrell (6-3). Holy Cross 10, Monsignor Farrell 1. Nick Rappold had 3 goals and 3 assists, Daniel Pastor scored 2 goals and added 3 assists, Joe May and John Quinn scored 2 goals apiece and John Kirakos added a goal for the Holy Cross junior varsity hockey team in a 10-1 win over Monsignor Farrell Sunday. On Saturday, the Knights edged Iona Prep, 3-2 as May scored twice and Quinn added a goal. On Jan. 4, Holy Cross dropped a 6-4 decision to Xaverian.
