The 32-year-old Forest Hills man charged with murdering his ex-girlfriend and leaving her 4-year-old daughter on a Middle Village street pleaded guilty to manslaughter and child abandonment Thursday, Feb. 16, the Queens district attorney said.

Cesar Ascarrunz admitted to killing Monica Lozada, 26, on Sept. 24 and leaving Lozada's daughter Valery alone in Middle Village street, the DA said.

Ascarrunz, who lived at 111-17 66th St., later deposited the mother's body in a plastic bag on the street, where it was taken with the trash and ultimately recovered in a Pennsylvania garbage dump, prosecutors said.

Ascarrunz faces up to 32 years in prison, the DA said.
