New Orleans saxophonist to perform at church

Renowned jazz saxophonist Donald Harrison, Jr. will bring the sweet sounds of Mardi Gras to the Bronx later this month, providing the musical backdrop for a celebration of the Eucharist and prayer for New Orleans at St. Augustine Church.

On Sunday, February 26, the 1183 Franklin Avenue church will open its doors for a 10:30 a.m. Mardi Gras jazz mass, calling for the blessings of St. Augustine Church in New Orleans
