Elected officials and health care workers cut the ribbon to a new renal dialysis center open for business at Cliffside Rehabilitation and Residential Health Care Center in Flushing Thursday.
The six-station $1 million center will streamline extended care for dialysis patients housed at Cliffside and its affiliated rehab and health care facilities at Woodcrest and Forest View, officials said.
According to Cliffside administrator Jack Deutsch, the facility is capable of handling up to 50 patients per week.
