SUPER SATURDAY SHOWCASE: BRONX ATHLETES TO COMPETE

Bronx high school athletes will have a chance to shine on the hardwood when Blue Chip Basketball hosts the 4th Annual Super Saturday High School Basketball Showcase at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania this weekend.

Nine games will make up the schedule on Saturday, January 27, and will feature the finest basketball players of the east coast.

One Bronx school will see action as Villa Maria Academy takes on the Academy of Notre Dame De Namur at 10:30 a.m.

Also, one very prominent New York school will be competing in the tournament. St. Michael Academy, located in Manhattan, will take on Upper Dublin High School, of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, at 9 a.m.

Featured on the St. Michael Academy team is Bronx standout, Anjale Barrett, who is joined by fellow players from the borough; Tasha Harris, Sophia Malone, Milan Germany, Jennifer O
