COUPLE DEBUTS RUSSIAN-INSPIRED WORK IN C.I.

By Jennifer Procario

Two artistically driven east Bronx residents are sharing their passion with the rest of the borough this month, having their latest works displayed at the Focal Point Gallery on City Island.

Husband and wife Glenn and Nadiya Goldstein of Barnes Avenue in Pelham Parkway South have been involved in the arts for many years, even before they married in 2001.

Their most recent collaborative works, which went on display January 5, will be available through the end of the month at Focal Point, located at 321 City Island Avenue.

Glenn, a longtime Bronxite, met Nadiya when she had traveled to the States from Russia in 1997. Both having had an artistic past, the pair instantly hit it off.

In a recent trip back to Russia, the couple took photographs and created watercolors and line-drawing sketches of the sights and attractions of Nadiya
