Man crossing 140th Ave. killed by fleeing Jeep

The Jeep fled the scene, police said.

The victim, whose identity was not released Tuesday, was taken to Jamaica Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

An accident investigation was conducted at the scene of the incident as police were seeking the driver of the vehicle, they said.
