There were no surprises on Sunday, December 23, at the Ice Hutch when Cardinal Spellman skated away with a 9-0 victory over the Mount Saint Michael Mountaineers.
Spellman went into this game undefeated this season while the once mighty Mount team had been struggling all season, winning only one game and hoping for an Olympic miracle that would get them back to their winning ways.
Those dreams were dashed, as Spellman dominating both offensively and defensively from the very start of the game.
