Filling the need for affordable housing, Jackson Development Group teamed up with architectural and planning firm Hugo Subotovsky to create Fordham Gardens, a new mixed-income housing unit located in Bedford Park.
The Community Preservation Corporation, New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal celebrated the completion of the rental development at 2732 Marion Avenue, with a ribbon cutting ceremony February 28.
Resident Christina Duran said she saw an ad for the apartments in the newspaper, and decided to rent after only a brief preview of the property.
