Man and family reunited after two-month search

JAMAICA An El Salvador man who suffered a stroke two months ago was reunited with his family after a lengthy search, according to Mary Immaculate Hospital.

Mary Immaculate said 71-year-old Rodrigo Martinez was visiting family in Hempstead, L.I., in February when he was found on a stoop after suffering a stroke. The stroke left Martinez disoriented and unable to speak, leaving hospital officials with little to go on regarding his family's whereabouts.

After his picture was released to the press last week, Martinez's family contacted the hospital and he was reunited with them.
